You have at least 2 years of managerial experience?

The Investor Program might be right for you.

There are 2 immigration programs for investors’ category in Canada, which are from Federal Government and Quebec province Government. Both lead to the permanent residency in Canada and are based on similar criteria.

You are required to:

  • Have a minimum net worth of CA$2 million that was obtained legally by you, your spouse or your common-law partner.In general, your worth includes bank accounts, stock-exchange portfolios, properties, company’s value, and more. Donations receive within 6 months prior to your submission date of application will not be accepted.
  • Have at least 2 years of full time managerial experience (planning, management and control of financial resources and of human or material resources under your authority; the experience does not include experience acquired in the context of an apprenticeship, training or specialization process attested to by a diploma) for at least two years in the five years preceding the application.(Have experience in management in a legal farming, commercial or industrial business, or in a legal professional business where the staff, excluding the investor, occupies at least the equivalent of two full-time jobs, or for an international agency or a government or one of its departments or agencies.)
  • Settle in Canada and invest CA$1,200,000 with a regulated financial intermediary.This is a secure loan and the Canadian Government will return your investment to you, without interest, in 5 years. However, please note that there is a financing option where the financial institution will make the investment under your name, for non-refundable fees.
